Linux Mint 5.0 Elyssa was released

Linux Mint 5.0 Elyssa was released. This distribution is based on Ubuntu so it’s closely following the Ubuntu stage. Linux Mint 5.0 Elyssa is based on Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron.
The benefits of Linux Mint:
– Audio and Video codecs
– Java, RAR, Real Player, Flash included
– many non open source VGA drivers WiFi and modems
– Bunch of software integrated for easier packets management, system configuration and archiving tools

The distribution comes with GNOME 2.22, KDE4, XFCE and Fluxbox as graphic managers.
You can also use the LightEdition version which does not includes the non open sourced software.
